Why Am I Testing Mascara?
Mascara is one of those simple products you can use to completely transform your eyes and your face. Whether you have long & dark lashes or short & blond, everyone can benefit from a good mascara. Choosing the one that works best for you however can be overwhelming. There are thousands of mascara types out there all claiming to do different things: lengthen, volumize, curl, smudge-proof, waterproof and on and on. So, I decided to test some different mascaras at different price points and share what I found to help make your decision easier. Read on to find out how it went!

The Final Score
We have a tie!! The top 2 mascaras are ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara and Essence Lash Princess False Lash Affect.
Here are the differences:
Essence has a higher score for clean ingredients (higher score means not as clean) so that is why it scored a 4.
ILIA is pricier at $23 more than Essence hence the 4.
Both are amazing products and come highly recommended.
Maybelline and L'Oréal scored lowest due to animal testing standards, lack of clean ingredients and also lack of either volumizing or lengthening abilities.
